How do I book/pay for hire stock?

There are two ways to book stock: through the website or directly with the shop (person/call/email).  Stock booked through the website is payable in full through PayPal. Stock booked in person is payable in two parts, first a deposit of 20% with the balance to be paid the  week before the event. Prices for stock are per day.

When is delivery, pickup, and return?

Times, unless organised prior, are:

• Delivery is on Friday
• Pick up is from the store on Saturday 9am-12pm
• Return is by Monday 9am

What condition do I need to return hire stock?

Stock you hire must be returned in the condition it went out it.  Breakage, damage, or cleaning fees may apply otherwise.

Can I suck helium?

NO.  Under no circumstances do we encourage you to inhale helium from a balloon or tank filled with it.  The helium itself won’t harm you, but the air from these balloons or tanks is low in oxygen, and inhaling this air can have various side effects.  These include from asphyxiation, brain damage or death.  Inhaling from a tank carries the additional danger of rupturing the airways.

When do I need to order a helium tank?

You need to place your order by at least the Wednesday prior to your event so we can ensure stock is available.

Do you have helium packages available?

Yes, we offer helium packages.  They include the tank, balloons, and ribbons, and are available in three sizes.  Your balloons may be either standard or metallic/pearl.

How long do balloons last for?

This depends on several things.  In general, our latex balloons can last from ten hours to two days, while foil and bubble balloons last for a couple of weeks.  This time is mostly affected by temperature.

Will you inflate balloons I brought from somewhere else?

Yes, we will inflate balloons that aren’t ours.  Please be aware however that as the balloons aren’t ours, we can make no guarantees to their quality, and inflation must be paid for regardless of breakage.  See this page for prices.

Do you deliver balloons?

Yes!  We deliver balloons to all areas of the Sunshine Coast and Hinterland.

Orders can be placed via the website 24/7 or by phone directly with the store.  Please allow us five days notice in case we need to order stock.

Urgent or express orders can be filled the same day when placed directly with the shop by 10am and will be filled as closely as possible to stock available.

Can I release helium balloons?

No.  It is against local law to release helium balloons.  We would recommend releasing butterflies or doves.

How do I take care of my balloons?

Don’t keep your balloons in a hot area, as helium expands with the heat and the balloon may burst.  Keep them away from any other hazards that may burst them. Also be sure to properly dispose of your balloons.

What are your delivery fees?

Delivery and pickup are charged each based on distance.  If stock requires a two person delivery or delivery above ground level, additional fees will be incurred.  Please contact us for specifics about delivery/pickup fees.
